POTATO CASSEROLE HASH BROWNS &
RANCH DRESSING
 
2 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns
3/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 pkg. Ranch dressing
2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 c. crushed potato chips or cornflakes

Defrost potatoes. Combine in large mixing bowl with 1/2 of the butter. Season with salt, pepper, onions, soup, sour cream, cheese and Ranch dressing. Blend thoroughly, pour into buttered 3 quart casserole. Mix remaining butter with either the potato chips or cornflakes and sprinkle over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
