3/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg

Cream together.

1 3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi sweet chips
1 c. pecans, optional

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes (chewy). Bake at 375 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes until crisp. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Makes 54 cookies.
