SOUR CREAM RAISIN PIE 
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. half and half
2 egg yolks

Boil the raisins in the water for 5 minutes. Drain good. Mix together the sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Add the half and half, egg yolks and raisins. Boil until thick. Keep stirring. Put in baked pie shell.

Meringue:

2 egg whites
4 tbsp. sugar

Beat until stiff. Put on top of pie.

Bake at 350°F until meringue is light brown, approximately 5 minutes.
