SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 unbaked 9 inch single pie shell
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/3 c. butter, melted
3 whole eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. pecans

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
