HOT APPLE SLAW 
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. celery
1 tsp. salt
6 c. shredded cabbage
1 sm. apple, finely sliced
2 tbsp. butter

Combine first 5 ingredients in a 2 quart glass casserole. Toss with cabbage and apple slices. Dot with butter; cover. Microwave for 4-5 minutes on High or until heated through. Let stand, covered, for 3 minutes. Toss and serve. Serve with cooked ham slices and Swiss cheese.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
