Hot peppers Cabbage Salt Celery seed Mustard seed 3 c. sugar 3 c. vinegar 1 c. water Wash peppers and remove seeds. Cut cabbage as for slaw and sprinkle with salt, celery seed and mustard seed. Stuff peppers with cabbage mixture. Bring sugar, vinegar and water to a boil. Add peppers and bring to scalding again. Pack in hot jars. Cover with vinegar mixture and seal. |
