FRENCH POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. sour cream

TOPPING:

1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips

Cream butter; add sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, baking soda, and baking powder together. Add to batter. Mix in 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon almond extract. Add sour cream and blend well. Pour half the batter in greased and floured 10-inch pan. Then add half of the topping, remaining batter, and then the rest of topping.
