EASY SPINACH-BACON OR PIZZA BREADS | |
1 ball frozen pizza dough for each bread SPINACH BREAD FILLING: 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp, cooled, crumbled 8 oz. pkg. shredded Cheddarella cheese PIZZA BREAD FILLING: 1 c. your favorite spaghetti or pizza sauce 8 oz. pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese 4 oz. pkg. sliced pepperoni Mushrooms, chopped peppers, or onions (optional) Let dough rise until double in size. Punch down, let rest 10 minutes. Roll out on floured surface to 10x16 inch rectangle. Spread with choice of fillings, roll up to 16 inch loaf. Place seam side down on greased baking sheet. Let raise to 1 1/2 inch size. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until tapping loaf gives hollow sound. Remove from oven, spread loaf with melted butter. Cool slightly before slicing to serve. |
