CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 sm. pkg. spaghetti
1 onion
1 clove garlic (or powder 1/4 tsp.)
2 tbsp. shortening or oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1 tbsp. sugar
1 or 2 c. chopped cooked chicken
1 can mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms (small)
Cheese - grated Cheddar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook and drain spaghetti. Saute onion, garlic in shortening. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar, stew a few minutes. Add chicken, soup, mushrooms.

Put in greased casserole. Sprinkle with grated cheese, cook until bubbly and top browns.
