GLORIFIED RICE 
3 c. cooked rice, sweetened to taste
1/2 pt. whipping cream
Maraschino cherries, drained
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained

Add water to the drained pineapple juice to make 2 cups. Heat. Dissolve Jello in liquids. When it begins to thicken, whip until fluffy. Add sweetened rice and cherries to Jello. Chill until firm. Finally, add sweetened whipped cream
