PEAR PIE 
1 qt. (4 c.) sliced pears
2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. tapioca
1/8 tsp. salt, ginger and nutmeg

Combine all ingredients.

Bake 350°F for 40 to 50 minutes or until it looks done. Let cool.

Topping:

3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. sugar

Whip cream with vanilla; add sugar. Beat cream cheese. Fold into whipped cream mixture; top pie. Chill well.
