TEXAS CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

In a large bowl sift flour, sugar, soda and salt. Melt butter, water and cocoa in saucepan. Bring to boil for 2 minutes. Set aside.

Mix eggs, milk and vanilla together. Add to flour mixture. Pour cocoa mixture into batter. Grease and flour large cookie sheet. Put on cookie sheet.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350°F.

ICING:

1 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
6 tbsp. buttermilk
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine in saucepan and bring to boil. Add 1 box powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup chopped nuts. Mix all together. Spread on cake while warm.
