TABBOULI SALAD 
1 c. ala (cracked wheat bulgur)
2 c. boiling water
1/4-1/2 c. oil
1/4-1/2 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4-1/2 tsp. pepper

Fresh vegetables chopped so fine you can hardly tell what they are:

Parsley
Romaine lettuce or spinach
Tomatoes
Green onions
Carrots
Cucumber
Green pepper
Celery

Use any of the above from your garden. The ingredients are basic to the best flavor.

Pour boiling water over cracked wheat in large bowl. Let stand 1 hour. Drain well in colander and return to bowl. Add remaining desired ingredients and blend well. Chill at least 2 hours. Serve on lettuce. This stuff is wonderful.
