Shrimp Pilau
 #51102
 Carole Robbins (Florida) says:
I am a St. Augustine Native Minorcan, and I was raised on all kinds of Pilau. But I have never seen recipes that make Pilau so difficult. It is one of the easiest rice dishes and was usually made to stretch the dinner when times were hard. Also, I have NEVER heard of baking shrimp. We always added the shrimp during the last 5 to 10 minutes of the cooking procedure - always stovetop.
