HAMBURGER CORN PONE 
1 lb. ground meat
1 tbsp. shortening
3/4 tsp. salt
1 #303 can tomatoes
1 sm. box Jiffy corn bread mix
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 #303 can kidney beans

Brown meat and chopped onion in melted shortening. Add seasoning and tomatoes, cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes. Add beans; mix well; pour into baking dish. Mix corn bread according to box directions; pour over meat mixture and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 4-6.
