EVERYTHING COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. quick cook oatmeal
1 c. Rice Krispies
3 c. flour
12 oz. chocolate chips and 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (can add more or less of each)

Cream sugar and butter. Add egg, oil and vanilla and mix well. Blend in dry ingredients. Add chips and nuts. Chill dough for 30 minutes. Roll dough in a ball the size of a walnut; flatten slightly with fingers onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake approximately 10 to 12 minutes at 350 until lightly browned.
