CRANBERRY-TURKEY RING
(MICROWAVE)
 
1/4 c. herb-seasoned stuffing mix, crushed
3/4 c. whole cranberry sauce
1 beaten egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. ground raw turkey

In mixing bowl, combine the egg, stuffing mix, 1/4 cup whole cranberry sauce, salt and pepper. Add ground turkey and mix well.

In a 9-inch microwave safe pie plate, shape the turkey mixture into a 6-inch ring, 2 inches wide. Cover with waxed paper. Micro-cook on 100% power (high) for 7-9 minutes or until no pink remains, giving the dish a half turn after 4 minutes. Let stand covered for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a 1 cup micro-safe measure, cook 1/2 cup cranberry sauce, uncovered on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until heated through. Transfer turkey ring to a serving platter. Spoon cranberry sauce over sliced turkey ring. Serves 4.

I add some oatmeal when I make this, good!

Combined preparation and cooking time: 15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
