CRANBERRY RING | |
2 cans mandarin oranges, drain and save juice 4 c. fresh cranberries, chopped 2 c. granulated sugar 4 (3 oz.) boxes strawberry Jello 3 c. boiling water 1 tbsp. lemon juice Reserved juice with ice cold water to make 3 c. Combine oranges, cranberries and sugar and let sit. In separate bowl mix boiling water and Jello until Jello is dissolved. Add cold water mixed with reserved orange juice and lemon juice. Add orange cranberry mixture to Jello. Refrigerate stirring occasionally until it stars to thicken or set pretty good. Pour into lightly oiled bundt cake pan. Refrigerate to set rest of way. Takes several hours to set. May add walnuts if desired. |
