PASTRY PUFF RING 
PASTRY:

1 stick butter
1 c. water
2 dashes of salt
2 tsp. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. milk
2 c. whipping cream
2 sm. pkgs. vanilla instant pudding
Sliced fresh strawberries or bananas

Use wooden spoon for pastry! Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

PASTRY: In medium saucepan, melt 1 stick butter and add 1 cup water. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup flour, 2 dashes of salt, and 2 teaspoons sugar. Add 4 eggs, one at a time and never stop stirring.

Grease round cookie sheet (pizza pan). Drop spoonfuls of pastry mixture onto sheet, forming a circle. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool in turned off oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven.

FILLING: Mix milk, whipping cream and pudding with electric beater for 2 to 3 minutes. Refrigerate.

TO SERVE: Carefully slice pastry ring horizontally in half (it doesn't have to be perfect). Lift top off. Spoon filling onto bottom section of pastry ring. Top filling with fruit (strawberries look great). Gently replace top of pastry. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Slice and serve.
