EASY POTATO-ONION CASSEROLE 
6 med. sized potatoes, sliced
3 med. sized onions, sliced
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp. butter
No liquid needed

In casserole with tight lid, layer:

1/2 of potatoes
1/2 of onions
1/2 of potatoes
1/2 of onions

Top only: Season lightly with salt and pepper. Dot with butter. Cover and bake about 1/2 hour in 350 degree oven until potatoes are done.
