CAKE PIE 
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
3 tbsp. butter
1 cup sugar
2 rounded tablespoons flour
juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
2 eggs, separated
1 cup milk

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour, juice and rind of lemon, beaten yolks and milk. Add stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
