CAKE BATTER WOOPIE PIES 
1 box cake mix (your favorite)
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
sprinkles or jimmies (optional)
1 tub prepared icing (your favorite)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In large bowl, beat cake mix, butter, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, or mix with spoon. Add in colorful sprinkles, if desired. Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by slightly less than tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart.

Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are set (centers will be soft). Cool for 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

When cooled, spread icing in-between two cookies to make a Whoopie pie! Repeat for remaining pies.

ENJOY!

Makes 8 Whoopie pies.
