1 tbsp. liquid sweetener
1 tbsp. butter, softened
6 tbsp. peanut butter
3 tbsp. unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 tsp. hot water

Mix butter, peanut butter and sweetener. Add salt, applesauce and egg. Mix. Add soda which has been dissolved in water. Gradually add flour. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on to greased cookie sheet. Press down with fork that does not need to be dipped in flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 28 cookies, 36 calories per cookie.
