DEEP FRIED SEAFOOD | |
1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 c. dry bread crumbs Heat oil 375 degrees in deep fryer. Stir together flour, salt and pepper. Coat seafood with flour mixture. Dip into beaten eggs, then coat with bread crumbs. Fry in deep oil until golden brown. If using self-rising flour, decrease salt to 1/2 teaspoon. 1 lb. shrimp 12 oz. scallops 1 pt. oysters 1 pt. clams Cooking time: 2 to 3 minutes 3 to 4 minutes 2 to 3 minutes 2 to 3 minutes |
