HOT FUDGE SUNDAES 
2 squares (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Vanilla ice cream

For sauce, in a heavy small saucepan, combine chocolate and 1/3 cup water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted. Stir in sugar and dash of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 8 minutes or until sugar is dissolved and mixture is slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Serve warm over ice cream. Makes about 1 cup sauce.
