SQUASH BLANCHINDA 
2 c. flour
2/3 c. lard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water or less
Squash, Hubbard shrewed
Onion
Salt
Pepper

Make as pie crust dough.

Roll out in rounds, add filling of shrewed onion and squash, salt and pepper and sugar to taste. Fold and pinch to seal. Bake 350 degrees until brown about 20 to 30 minutes.
