FRUIT JAM 
1 c. sugar to
1 c. fruit

Wash berries. Add 1/2 of the sugar to all of the fruit, stir and then boil 5 minutes. Add the rest of the sugar, stir and boil 7 minutes. Skim scum off the top. Let stand overnight, stirring now and then. Put into jam jars and seal with melted paraffin.
