GRAPE JELLO LAYERED DESSERT | |
2 pkgs. grape Jello 2 c. hot water 1 1/2 c. cold water 2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 4 tbsp. cream 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1. Dissolve Jello in hot water. Add cold water and chill until slightly syrupy. 2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup butter and sugar. Press in 9 x 13 inch dish. Bake 2 or 3 minutes at 375 degrees. (Save 2/3 cup crumbs for garnish, do not heat this.) 3. Blend cream cheese and cream. Add powdered sugar. Spread cream cheese mixture over graham crust. Then pour gelatin carefully over cream cheese layer. Chill until firm. Sprinkle rest of crumbs on top of Jello. Cut into squares. |
