DEVILED STEAK SANDWICHES | |
1 lb. cubed steaks 2 tbsp. salad oil 1 med. onion 1/3 c. bottled steak sauce 3 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. salt 4 to 5 slices bread, toasted and buttered 2 hard cooked eggs, sliced Fry steaks in hot oil for 2 minutes, each side. Set aside. Reduce heat to medium; cook 1/2 cup water, onion, steak sauce, brown sugar, mustard and salt until onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Return steaks to skillet and coat with onion mixture. Serve on toast, topped with egg slices. |
