APPLE PIE 
4 c. apples, thinly sliced
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. butter
1- 3 oz. pkg. Jello brand Peach gelatin
1 pkg. jello vanilla pudding mix
1 frozen 9 in. pie shell baked and cooled

Combine apples, water, spices and butter in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in gelatin, add pie filling mix and blend well. Bring to a full boil. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Pour into pie shell. Chill 4 hours before serving.
