CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 head fresh cabbage
1 can tomatoes
1/2 c. rice, uncooked
1 onion, fried in oil
Small amount of sweet green pepper
Dash of black pepper

Boil cabbage until tender. Do not overcook. Combine beef, rice, pepper, salt, onion and green pepper and mix well. Roll meat mixture into balls and wrap in cabbage leaves (tight rolls). Place cabbage rolls in a pot and cover with canned tomatoes. Squish tomatoes and cook until rice is tender and the meat is done.
