QUICK ORANGE ROLLS 
2 c. sifted enriched flour
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. milk or orange juice
Orange sugar (1/2 c. sugar and grated rind of orange mixed thoroughly)

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut or rub in shortening. Beat egg; add milk or orange juice. Add all to dry ingredients. Blend with fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn out on lightly floured board. Knead gently for 30 seconds. Roll out into rectangular sheet 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with orange sugar. Roll up jelly roll fashion and cut into 1 inch lengths. Put each slice cut side down in greased ring mold. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve hot. Yields 1 ring.
