FRIED BANANA-OATMEAL 
1/4 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. water
1 banana
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. rolled oats
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Bring water to boil in medium saucepan. Stir in oats and raisins. Lower heat and simmer 6-8 minutes until thick.

While oatmeal is cooking, toast walnuts in a dry saucepan. Remove from pan. Slice banana, fry in butter using same saucepan. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of bananas. (For sweetness, add sugar to cinnamon.) Continue frying for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until bananas become mushy and start to brown.

When oatmeal is cooked, stir in bananas and walnuts. Serve with dash of cinnamon and milk, if desired.
