COTTAGE CHEESE COOKIES 
2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 c. cottage cheese
5 1/2 c. flour
1 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla and cottage cheese. Add dry ingredients and nuts. Refrigerate overnight. Roll in balls. Bake in 350 oven. Check after 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
