SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. diced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cornstarch
6 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. catsup
1 c. pineapple juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can chunk pineapple, drained

Combine beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix well with hands. Form 1 inch balls. Place in shallow baking pan. Bake 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Drain. In large saucepan combine remaining ingredients except pineapple chunks. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and translucent, about 5 minutes. Add meatballs and pineapple chunks. Let come to a boil. Reduce heat. May serve over rice.
