SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. hamburg 1 egg 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/4 c. milk 2 tbsp. onion, finely chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce SAUCE: 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. cornstarch (mix with water & add to boiling sauce) 1 (13 oz.) can pineapple chunks in heavy syrup 1/3 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 green pepper, cut in chunks Mix all meatball ingredients together. Form into small meatballs and bake in 400 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning 1/2 way through. Mix all sauce ingredients and add cooked meatballs to it. Simmer to heat through. |
