SHARI'S PUMPKIN BREAD 
2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. pumpkin (home canned is best)
2/3 c. water
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ginger
nuts (optional)

Cream shortening and sugar; stir in eggs, pumpkin, and water. Blend rest of ingredients together and stir into pumpkin mixture. Grease and flour pans. Bake at 350 degrees 50-70 minutes. Makes 2 regular loaves or 4 small loaves.
