RAW APPLE CAKE 
4 c. raw apples, peeled & sliced
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Pour sugar over apples and let stand for 1/2 hour. In one bowl, combine dry ingredients. In another, the eggs, oil and vanilla. Combine the two mixtures. Fold in apples and chopped nuts. Pour batter into greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. (No need to frost.)
