MICROWAVE FUDGE 
1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla extract

Combine first 3 ingredients in a 2-quart glass bowl; add butter, microwave on high, uncovered for 2 to 3 minutes; add milk, stir until blended. Microwave on high 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. Pour into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan. Refrigerate until fudge is firm. Cut into squares. Makes 1 1/2 pounds.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
