2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
8 tsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Pet evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Mix 2 1/2 cups flour, soda, cocoa, 2 1/2 cups sugar; then add 1/2 cup buttermilk, melted butter, boiling water and eggs. Pour into well greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Poke holes all over cake with fork. Mix evaporated milk, 2 cups sugar, vanilla and butter in saucepan and beat until butter is melted. Pour over cake.
