R.'S OSAGE CHILI | |
3 lbs. ground chuck 1/2 c. flour 3 tbsp. ground cumin Cayenne pepper (to taste) Chili beans (if canned variety, be sure to rinse thoroughly. Usually #1 can is enough) 1 onion, chopped 3 tbsp. chili powder Salt & pepper Garlic powder 5-6 c. water 5-6 tbsp. paprika Brown ground chuck and onion in skillet. Add flour and brown into meat. Transfer meat mixture to a large pot. Add chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Add one cup of water at a time. Stir thoroughly and cook a little before adding another cup. Cook about 30 minutes on top of stove. Add paprika and beans and simmer until ready to serve. |
