BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE SQUARES 
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 1/4 c. pared and chopped apples
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle brand milk
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 degrees if glass dish used). Melt butter in 13 x 9 inch dish in oven. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over butter and spread apples evenly over crumbs.

In top double boiler, melt butterscotch morsels with milk and pour evenly over apples. Top with coconut and nuts and press down gently. Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and chill before serving. Top with whipped cream if desired. Refrigerate leftover.
