SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 can tomato soup
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. hot water

Heat oil in heavy skillet. Add onion and cook about 5 minutes. Add meat, cook and stir until crumbly. Mix in the paste, water, soup and seasonings. Simmer over low heat for 40 minutes or until sauce thickens. Serve over spaghetti.
