SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
3/4 c. dried bread crumbs
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 sm. onion, diced
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. water
1 c. half & half
1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon
Fresh parsley
Noodles or rice

Mix beef, pork crumbs, milk, egg, onion, 1 teaspoon salt, nutmeg, and pepper. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. Place meatballs into two (9x13x2 inch) pans. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

Remove meatballs to serving dish and keep warm. Place 3 tablespoons of pan drippings in saucepan and stir in flour. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in water, cream, bouillon and 1/2 teaspoon salt, stirring constantly; bring to boil and boil 1 minute. Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve hot with buttered noodles or rice. Yield: 6-8 servings.
