FRESH CUCUMBER PICKLES 
1 gal. cucumbers, sliced about 1/2 inch thick (do not peel)
3 onions, sliced
3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 heaping tsp. tumeric

Combine sugar, vinegar and seasonings (do not cook). Pour over cucumbers and onions. Put in jars and shake a few times. Keep refrigerated.
