STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
36 sm. white mushroom caps, each about 1" in diameter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temp.
4 slices American cheese, room temp.
4 slices bacon, fried & crumbled
1 tbsp. bacon grease
1 tsp. finely minced onion

Approximately 1 pound.

You can use any cheese that you like which will melt, e.g. Velveeta, Win Schuler's. Just add enough to make mixture a light orange color.

In small mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese and American cheese until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Wash and dry mushroom caps. Fill with stuffing. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes until cheese melts and juice is just starting to come out of mushrooms. Do not overbake.
