TOFFEE SAUCE 
2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. butter

Mix all ingredients in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil and boil rapidly for 3 minutes. Serve warm on ice cream or plain cake.

Makes about 2 cups.
