APPLE CRISP 
4-5 c. sliced apples (may use any type)
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. soft butter
Ice cream or whipped cream (for topping if desired)

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Peel apples and slice. Grease an 8x8 square pan and place apples evenly into pan.

Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl, then sprinkle over apples. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until apples are tender.

Top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired. Serve warm or cool.
