APPLE OUT CRISP 
FRUIT:

3 sm. apples, cored & sliced
1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 tsp. lemon rind
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

1 oz. quick cook oats
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. soft butter

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In medium non-aluminum bowl. Mix fruit ingredients.

3. Scrape into 8" square pan.

4. Prepare topping. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon.

5. Cut in butter until crumbly.

6. Sprinkle over fruit.

7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 4.
