BLACK BEAN CHILI WITH RED ONION
RELISH
 
2 c. cooked black beans
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 red chili peppers
Juice of 1 lime or 1 tbsp. vinegar
1 chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. tomato puree
2 cans diced Ortega chilies

Saute vegetables. Add to beans along with rest of ingredients. Simmer, add water if needed.

RELISH:

1 chopped red onion
Chopped cilantro
2 chopped tomatoes

Whirl briefly in a food processor if you want to.
